I recently engaged WorkWisdom after an unexpected workforce reduction. I needed to polish my skills and work out how to present myself to future employers, it can be a minefield after several years in one role. I had several coaching sessions with Selina, principally to focus on my interview and resume skills, and it was all done via Skype. She was very thorough and gave me lots of practical advice. One of the key takeaways was make it personal and to practice my delivery. With her advice I was successful on my first interview and got the job, I’ve no doubt without her input the result would not have been as positive We’ve also had a session on first 30 days to align my expectations with that of the organisation. This gives me both a structure and the confidence to ensure my new role has longevity and focus on what I need to take my role to the next level.
